The effect of calcium carbonate fillers on fusion and properties of rigid PVC

uncoated to PVC compounds is now commonplace, research into
their role in the fusion process and subsequent end product properties is limited.
Thus five grades of natural calcium carbonate filler of
varying particle size were incorporated into a simple rigid
PVC pipe formulation by dry blending and then extrusion on a
twin screw extruder. [Continues.]
