Precision cast tooling

The thesis reports an investigation concerned with the optimisation of materials and methods in the production of precision cast H13 die steel tooling. The investigation was conducted in four stages: (i) mould material evaluation; (ii) metallurgical processing; (iii) test casting production and evaluation; (iv) finishing procedures. [Continues.]
