Small-oscillation stability of a synchronous machine
thesis
posted on 2018-02-22, 15:18 authored by Anjay K. NaskarThe ever increasing demand for power and the correspondingly greater
complexity of power systems is leading to more severe problems of system
stability, and considerations of these are now requiring a more detailed
modelling of the generator system than has hitherto been undertaken.
The object of this thesis is to study the steady-state stability of a
synchronous machine during small oscillations in the system and also to
investigate the significance of various system parameters on the system
stability. [Continues.]
