The paper presents an overview of the analytical aerodynamic models for analysis of the flow passing through the rotor of Darrieus type wind turbine The analytical methods are used in the Darrieus turbine design development and performance evaluation prediction. The advantages, drawbacks and relevant field of applications for the momentum analytical models are reviewed.
