Experimental study of the dispersion of a Rayleigh wave on a rough surface

The relative variations of the phase velocity of Rayleigh waves on three-dimensionally and two-dimensionally rough surfaces are determined experimentally as a function of the frequency. The experimental data are compared with existing theoretical results.
