Les matériaux dits électrochromes peuvent changer de couleur sous l’effet d’un courant électrique. On les utilise notamment pour réaliser des vitrages qui s’opacifient à volonté. [So-called electrochromic materials are able to change colour when an electric current is applied to them. In particular they can be used to make glazing which can be made opaque at will.]
