concerned with the self and creative space, focusing in particular on
detailed readings of Virginia Woolf (1882 - 1941) and Jeanette Winterson
(1959 -). In so doing, it explores the presence of a creative space
between reality and reverie. The nature of this 'space between' is
examined creatively from psychoanalytical and. feminist perspectives.
Focusing on the nature of creative space offers a reading of these
authors and their work, whilst also providing an original and important
response to the relatively unexplored concept of a 'space between'.
