Stochastic dynamics of the diffusive Haken model with subthreshold periodic forcing

We derive an expression for the theoretical transition rate between states and show that this rate matches the driving frequency. We further show that this effect persists when a diffusive coupling is introduced into the network leading to a more robust system.
