Getting more out of spreadsheets - using Microsoft Excel to facilitate CAA

can be accomplished. The first part of this paper contains suggestions of ways in
which spreadsheets can be used to manage most of the common administrative
tasks which fall on lecturers in charge of running modules. The remainder of the
paper contains details of ways in which spreadsheets have been used to set
individualized student assessments and to give students both formative and
summative feedback.
