Reflection of a Rayleigh wave from the edge of a wedge in oblique incidence

The reflection of a Rayleigh wave from the edge of a sharp elastic wedge in oblique incidence is aaalyzed. It is shown that the nature of the angular dependence of the modulus of the reflection coeffrcient is strongly affected by the phase shift of the symmetric field mode associated with reflection from a caustic. The results are tested experimentally.
