RADU, T. ... et al., 2013. Anaerobic digestion of brewery effluent: two-year operating experiences and key effects on performance. This poster was displayed at: 2013 3rd BIT Annual World Congress of Bioenergy, Nanjing, China, 25-27 April.
The treatment of brewery waste is the most common application of anaerobic digestion (AD) for effluent treatment. There is additional benefit of biogas and renewable energy incentives are an added attraction. Here we discuss operational experiences of the AD facilities used by Marmite Unilever at Burton on Trent to treat brewery waste over the period of three years.
