chapter
posted on 2016-04-26, 10:20 authored by O.A. Petrii, Stephen Fletcher
Alexander Naumovich Frumkin (1895–1976) founded and led one of the twentieth century’s largest research schools in the field of electrochemistry. Here, a brief attempt is made to sketch, in rather large brushstrokes, the main outlines of his life and work and to summarize the many and varied contributions that he made to this rapidly developing field.
