Oxidative dehomologation of aldehydes with oxygen as a terminal oxidant
journal contribution
posted on 2017-12-08, 11:01 authored by Sergei A. Shipilovskikh, Aleksandr E. Rubtsov, Andrei MalkovAndrei MalkovA mild, efficient protocol for oxidative cleavage of C-C bond in aldehydes has been developed that employs alkali metal hydrides as reagents and oxygen from air as a terminal oxidant. The method is applicable to a broad substrate range.
