Academic library resource management: strategies for the present and future

especially at a time when budgets are under ever increasing pressure. Correspondingly,
there is a continuing requirement for methodologies and information to assist in the
formulation of strategies which will at least facilitate the defence of budgets, at best justify
differing or improved service, and generally maximise the existing resource base. [Continues.]
