Abstract: The aim of this paper is to look at various types of sewer disposal methods in the city of Lusaka and discuss the impact that rapid growth in the population of the city has had on such systems. The possible dangers posed to both human life and the environment when such sewer disposal methods are not properly managed are also presented.
