Abstract: Kaduna State of Nigeria has a 1991 population of 4.1 million of which 58 per cent is served with water supply by Kaduna State Water Board. A State-Wide Water Resources Masterplan is being developed to improve coverage to more than 70 per cent covering a projected population of 7.1 million by the year 2020.
