Most of the water supply in the studied area is from groundwater sources; however, there is a quality problem. This is due to high TDS and fluoride concentrations. Water samples and lithologic data of wells in the area were collected, analyzed and used, to identify the source of major constituents of surface and ground waters and to examine the suitability of the waters for different purposes.
