Elongational flow of polyvinyl chloride

chloride were investigated using the prototype Rutherford Extensional
Rheometer. Prior to this, the search for a suitable clamp design and
sample shape, the tests on the compatibility of silicon oil as the heating
medium for plasticised polyvinyl chloride and the reproducibility of
measurements of the rheometer were carried out. [Continues.]
