Abstract: This study adopted the principles of action research in order to investigate the broad problem of those students who experienced learning difficulties within the core design studies course at a Leicestershire upper school. The action research approach enabled a closely focused examination of the problem area in a manner which whilst not externally valid, offered the maximum value to that particular school. [Continues.]
