Since the introduction of computers into architecture much debate has surrounded their present and future role in the design process, but to date there have been very few documents that have quantified the actual state of computer aided architectural design. This thesis sets out to enable designers to make more informed judgements as to the appropriateness of computers as a tool for design in architecture. [Continues.]
