online resource
posted on 2019-02-07, 12:00 authored by P. LynchThe enamine double bond has been reduced by catalytic hydrogenation, by formic acid, by sodium in liquid ammonia and by sodium borohydride. Lithium aluminium hydride is essentially without action on enamines. This thesis describes an investigation of the action on enamines of 'mixed hydride' reducing agents formed from mixtures of lithium aluminium hydride and aluminium chloride. [Continues.]
