Abstract: The paper describes videoconferencing workstation using ATM for the transmission of all data and Motion-JPEG for compression of the video. Of particular interest is the work on algorithms to help conceal the errors that arise from transmission over an ATM network. Several methods are discussed and the results of some subjective assessments of typical images are presented
