The global rate of interception of illicit opiates and cocaine 1980-1994.

This paper presents a methodologically simple means of deriving global interception rates for opiates and cocaine, and some preliminary interpretation. Global production and manufacturing estimates are compared to global seizure reports to estimate the proportion of illicit drug trafficking that is intercepted.
